Why the name Dee Dee?
The name Dee Dee’s Raw comes from a sweet moment that stuck.
Years ago, a little girl named Faith couldn’t quite pronounce “Darren,” so she called me “Dee Dee.”
The nickname felt natural and genuine — and it captured the simple, personal touch I wanted this business to carry.
It also reflects what Dee Dee’s Raw stands for: love, trust, and keeping things real.
After several years of helping run a dog shelter and managing a raw pet food company, I felt led — by faith — to start something of my own. A local, honest brand that puts your pets’ health first and treats every customer like family.
